Ahhhh

Well, I wasn't sure "it", meaning general restlessness was going to come, but the count down has arrived. This time around I just seemed to be innately patient with being pregnant. But, today marks the beginning of my 38th week and I am starting to think, hmm I am full term. OK any day now Mr. Enoch. By the way did I mention we already met our insurance premium for the year :) It sure would be cheaper to have him this month, rather than pay all those hospital bills next month. When I told my mom last night, that I thought I might have this baby early, I could tell she was smiling with a good luck with that-it'll never happen grin. All I have to say about that-GOOD THING I CAN"T REACH YOU FROM HERE IN MINNESOTA MOM!!!! I must say, that was not quite as bad as the lady who threatened to pop me with her car keys at church yesterday. Or the other lady who said, "your still here". So, from my check list I have just five things left to do.

1) Find a babysitter, to watch the boys while I am in the hospital.

2) Pack my bag for the hospital.

3) Figure out how to paint my toenails.

4) Have Tom put the other seat in the van, so we can install the baby seat.

5a) Avoid everyone so I don't have to field any questions about when I am due.

or

5b) Paint a sign on my forehead that says- 38 weeks, don't say a word!

I hate to sound so grumpy, and it is partly in joking tone.

I am adding a few cute cartoons here for viewer pleasure :)

OK, just to play on the opposing team for a while, I might as well wait until my due date because...

Tom will have more vacation time saved by then.
The boys are going to a sibling class on the tenth.
I just found out I am not actually at 38 weeks until the fifth.
January is my month to conduct Relief Society.
Gabriel is starting primary and the transition looks to be slightly difficult.
I may end up with the fat rolley polley baby Tom always wanted.

However, I did get a few things checked off my list ;)

I couldn't get my pictures to post right, but I think you can get the idea. I painted my toenails and packed my bag (check, check). I decided that we actually don't have to put the seat in-we have an extra seat already, and I found someone to watch the boys(check, check). So, as for the painted sign on my forehead, I think the t-shirt in the cartoon should cover it :)

Yay for you! I'm so excited for you guys. :) I can definately sympathize about the hurry up and wait part of pregnancy. I recently found out that my due date isn't actually until the 15th of January...not the 12th like I'd orignally thought. So, I know that's not a huge difference, but it's still kind of sad... Who knows though? Natalie was 2 weeks early, and I'll be 38 weeks on Thursday, so here's to keeping fingers crossed and eating spicy food! Actually, I have been having a pretty crazy nesting instinct for the last 2 days. I never had that with Natalie, but boy, I tell you, I've cleaned/orgnaized every room in the house. It probably means nothing, but maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. Anyway, I am thinking about you, and sending you lots of baby dust, and happy birthing wishes. ;)
